Mishari Group Ltd’s latest project with Meliá Hotels International builds an inviting home in the verdant setting of Karon Beach in Phuket.
Spanish hotel chain Melia Hotels International has brought onboard global property developers Mishari Group to create the Melia Phuket Karon Residences in Phuket, Thailand. Placed centrally on a hillside development off of the 5 km stretch of white sands around Karon Beach, the new property boasts 138 hotel rooms and 68 residences. Overlooking the turquoise Andaman Sea from a vantage point, the rainforest pool villas are spread over 16 acres of centuries-old jungle and offer a 180-degree view. The unique blend of sustainable yet contemporary design with an ideal location calls for the international crowd of lifestyle-seeking buyers to the iconic spot.
“The natural contours of the land and the astonishing views over the bay have inspired this project,” said Faheem Ahmed, Chairman of the Mishari Group. “It gives us great pleasure to unveil the pool villa and condominiums which will appeal to an increasing number of international residents who are moving to live in Phuket, full or part-time,” he added.
One of Thailand’s most popular travel destinations, Phuket is an island known for its beautiful white sand beaches and clear, turquoise waters. While tourism in the island city has flourished post-COVID, it has also since transformed into a popular residential area. Connected with the rest of the world with over 50 international direct flights a day, along with world-class scho ls and medical institutes, Phuket has transformed into a hospitable home for many with the appeal of the island lifestyle.
“We are delighted to partner with Mishari to unveil a collection of pool villa sanctuaries,” said Ignacio Martin, the Asia Pacific Managing Director of Meliá Hotels International. “This project is very much in line with our nature-focused outlook. By blending natural beauty with world-class hospitality, this development will once again put Karon Beach on the map as one of the most sought-after destinations on the island,” he noted.
